3-hour Leadership Workshop

How to make
judgement
a team capability.

AI makes building and accessing your company brain’s knowledge easier. Your leadership habits need to evolve too.

This three-hour workshop helps your team make clearer decisions, challenge assumptions and learn from results, with AI supporting the process.

The goals

  1. Make better, faster reversible decisions.

    With clear ownership and evidence.

  2. Enable more decisions close to the work.

With people and AI agents acting within agreed boundaries.

  3. Increase your organisation’s learning velocity.

By comparing predictions with outcomes and deciding what to stop, adapt or scale.

The leadership
shift.

AI makes it cheaper to explore ideas, create prototypes and automate work. Leadership decides what to kill, adapt or scale and learns from those decisions.

Three questions every leadership team should ask and measure.

Decide without you.

Can people and AI agents make decisions within clear boundaries, without waiting for you?

Done: People and agents act within written boundaries, with a clear escalation path.

Know your hit rate.

Do you record your predictions and check how often you’re right?

Done: Predictions and confidence are recorded before action, then scored against outcomes.

Make stopping normal.

Is killing an experiment normal when the evidence says it isn’t working?

Done: Stop criteria are agreed in advance. The team stops experiments when the evidence calls for it.

When there is a gap, that is a useful place to start.

Agenda:
3 hours.

Work through one real business challenge using the Building, Judgement and Alignment model.

00:0020 min

The Rebuilder identity & your team assessment

Identify the mode your team relies on, the one it neglects and the capabilities you need to develop.

You leave with

A BJA team assessment and two priority capabilities to practise.

00:2035 min

Build a workflow experiment & starter harness

Design a small AI-assisted test for one workflow. Write the prediction and stop criteria before testing. Define the context, tools, permissions and human checks the agent needs.

You leave with

An experiment outline with a prediction and success criteria, plus a starter harness worksheet and AI skill file.

00:5550 min

Practise better judgement

Compare options with a taste scorecard. Clarify who can decide what, which decisions need approval and what evidence is required. Practise scoring predictions and confidence against outcomes.

You leave with

A taste scorecard, a decision-rights map and a prediction log with a reusable AI skill file.

01:45

Short break 10 min

01:5535 min

Find disagreement & build shared reality

Compare independent views, challenge assumptions and surface dissent. Practise an AI-supported decision meeting, then make the decision, reasoning and responsibilities clear.

You leave with

A one-page decision brief with a named owner, boundaries, next actions and unresolved concerns, plus a reusable briefing skill file.

02:3030 min

Learning velocity & speed

Agree how new evidence will change your decisions and ways of working. Set up reviews to score predictions, decide what to stop or scale, and check whether people adopt the changes.

Track decision latency, prediction quality and evidence of adoption.

You leave with

A measurement plan with baseline definitions, owners and a first review date, plus an evidence-review scorecard, meeting structure and AI skill file.

How are you complicit in creating the conditions you say you don’t want?”
